The first time I met my salesman (Frank), I was inquiring about a Honda (Ridgeline) they had advertised on the internet. During our meeting, Frank demonstrated that he was quite familiar and knowledgable with the various aspects of that model. He also explained the "Honda Certified" program as well as my purchase/financing options, etc.
Needless to say I didn't put a "hold" deposit on the car (nor was I at anytime pressured to do so) and two days later when I called back to put down a deposit,someone else had already scooped it up. (Which Frank & a couple of people told me might happen since they're pretty popular!)
During the following months I continued my search at various dealers and realized that Morehead Honda was quite superior to others. Everything from their showroom facility (bright, clean, spacious, wi-fi) to their in house parts/service section made the process much easier.
By the way, when I saw that they had received another Ridgeline, I immediately recontacted Frank and went for a test drive. This time I bought the vehicle. Frank Quinones was very genuine and helpful throughout the entire process and I would have no problem referring anyone to him.
My husband and I have purchased a new car every three years for the last 41 years. We have had bad to great experiences with all kinds of dealerships. We have to rate Morehead Honda beyond the word great. Our experience with customer service, the quality of work, all done in a timely manner, the friendliness of all the staff from the moment you walk into the door to our most pleasant experience of meeting and working with the salesperson Mark J. Etri Jr goes beyond excellent. Mark meets all the criteria of a pleasant, courteous and personable person. He asks and listens to what you want and need in a car. There is no judgement on his part as to whether or not you can even afford the car/SUV you are asking about. He kept us updated frequently while they were searching for the vehicle we requested. The transition of the trade was quick, smooth and again a wonderful experience. Mark Etri is a young gentleman that should not be looked over by this dealership. He's knowledgeable about all of the vehicles, he is tech savvy and presented as extremely patient with all of our questions regarding the equipment within the vehicle. It is obvious that he loves his job and the people he works with. He presents as happy and excited and leaves no stone unturned. To the person reading this, you may ask why am I taking the time to write so much. This was a pleasant experience because of this young gentleman Mark Etri and all the people he introduced us to. Young people like Mark Etri are hard to come by. Personally, I'm tired of people who can't give you the right time of day, can't smile, can't listen, can't complete a transition in a timely and professional manner and most importantly can even remember your name or that you were in once to look at a vehicle. We hope to buy all of our future vehicles from Mark Etri and Moorehead Honda. They get 5 plus stars from us.

I was on my way home from White Plains Honda where I had been shown a 2009 Accord EX-L that Honda would have been embarrassed to call "Certified Used". Being a little frustrated that I had driven over 2 1/2 hours for nothing, I decided to stop at the Honda dealers along the way home. I pulled in to Morehead Honda in Newburgh, NY and started looking around. I was greeted by a very pleasant sales associate named Dey. I told her what I was looking for and after a short search she stated they did not have the vehicle I wanted on the lot but they did have one at their sister dealership in Kingston. They immediately sent someone to retrieve the vehicle. A sales manager named Doug then gave me a very reasonable offer on my trade and I decided to buy a 2010 CRV-EXL that I had not even seen just because I trusted both Doug and Dey when they said the vehicle was I great condition and I would be very happy with it. The vehicle arrived, it was exactly as described and I drove it home that night. I am the type of consumer who researches my trade and vehicle to be purchased for several months before I go to buy. I know what is fair when I walk into a dealership and do not like the low ball offers and numbers game that some dealers use to take advantage of people that don't do the research. Doug's first offer was fair. I asked for a little more and we then met half way and were done. No games. I would highly recommend this dealer based on my experience.

I wanted a car that was difficult to obtain, and Tommy and other employees as well had to really go the extra mile to get it for me. The atmoshere in the entire dealership is very positive & friendly from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. You would think to expect that anywhere, but while searching for a car over the past month it was surprisingly rare...
Lewis (who sold me the car) was a pleasure to deal with....he is very easy to talk to and was reasonable & fair in negotiating a deal for my new Honda CR-V. He was very knowledgeable of the car, and it was clear that he believed in all the Honda products...Again, a pleasurable person to deal with.
In addition, I had left some personal information on Lewis' desk after I had left. Instead of making me drive back to the dealership to retrieve it, Lewis personnally delivered it to me on his way home that same day....That was an incredibly nice thing to do, and he did it AFTER the sale!
Michael handled my financing & extended warranty. I was pleased with his offer for the extended warranty so I decided to purchase it. Michael was also a nice person to talk to, but most importantly he carefully explained all my options and made sure I understood each item covered before moving on to the next. I have had experiences with similar situations that by the time I got home, I really didn't understand as much as I had thought during the meeting. Not this time....everything was clearly explained in a way that I understood and remembered it.
Morehead Honda will definitely be my first stop next time I search for a new car.

My experience buying a new Honda Odyssey couldn't have been more pleasant. I was a returning Odyssey customer- I just loved mine- it does everything I want it to do flawlessly.No one had to sell me on this model -it was purely price and availability. My sales person was really working hard to get me the best deal without making me feel pressured. Mark knew about all the newest features and answered all my questions with regard to safety. I was at the end of a 36 month lease and he made the transition from my '08 to 2011 seamless. I went to another dealership after getting Moorehead's price, and that price was so much higher I couldn't believe it. When I told him what I was going to pay monthly, with what I put down, he told me he couldn't do as well as Moorehead. I would recommend this dealership and Mark to my friends looking for a Honda.

Lewis was thorough in explaining the features of the car and the difference between the various models. Also had us test drive on the highway because we commute to work every day so we could see the vehicles handling and power under highway conditions. Michael worked to get us approved and reviewing the sale was a very pleasant experience. There was a ding on the rear bumper and before we even noticed it Lewis pointed it out and arranged to have it fixed. When we brought it in to be fixed we had the car back in one day and the job was flawless.

I priced the cost of a 2011 Odyssey at several dealers and Morehead was by far the most reasonable. When we met with Chris he was very knowledgable about the features of the vehicle and was able to get us the car equipped the way we wanted it. There was no high pressure salesmanship or the feeling that this was a once in a lifetime chance,so buy now. My husband's car was totaled in December and we visited Morehead Honda, and Tommy Loving, in April in our search for a replacement vehicle. We were not initially interested in Hondas...we had already visited Hyundai, Toyota, Volkswagen, Mazda and other dealerships in the Beacon/Fishkill and Newburgh/New Windsor areas.
We were close to deals on two other vehicles prior, but were unhappy with the lack of prompt responses to phone calls and poor overall communication. If dealers weren't calling us back now...what would they do after we bought the car?
We entered Morehead Honda on a whim and did not anticipate purchasing a car there...we were planning to "take a look". The entire staff was friendly, honest and helpful during our visit.
We met Tommy Loving and appreciated his honest/no-pressure approach. He knew the vehicles inside and out and clearly described the features and benefits of each one. He was flexible when we changed our minds about which vehicle we wanted. (We switched from a Civic to Fit Sport.) Russ sold my wife a honda accord in 05 that was a great buying experience.then we got an 08 civic for my daughter KRISTEN and that was a great buying experience. we bought two other hondas for two of my other daughters Heather and dannielle at another dealer i can tell you that i did not walk away with the same comfort and pleasurable buying or servicing experiance at the other dealers we purchased from. but each time we were in the market for a new honda the first person that comes to mind is russ peck.This crv that we purchased on 3-27-11 is the third new honda that russ peck has sold us.I learned that saving a few dollars or getting a few more dollars for my trade in is not worth the sacrifice that you have to make for dealing with other service departments at other dealerships. my wife has always had hondas and always serviced her car at moorehead honda and was and is very pleased with the way she is treated whan her car is in for service.

My wife and I stopped by Morehead Honda to return my 2008 Honda Civic,which had an expiring lease.Our kids were in school and we only had about 2 hours , so we figured that we could at least stop by , check out the cars to get an idea for our next lease.Then we met Phillip , great guy/salesman with a ton of energy.I told him that we had about 2 hours and off he went.He got right down to it,got us the car we wanted at a very fair price then proceded to get the whole deal done,get us out the door and home in time for our boys.This is the sixth car that i have purchased/leased at Morehead Honda and I will never get a Honda anywhere else.I highly recommend Morehead Honda and Phillip,you will not be dissappointed!

Honda's reputation speaks for itself and decided to price a Honda Civic. I met with Sterling Peck. He treated me with respect and had a good understanding of what I was looking for within the 1st minutes of our conversation. He did not pressure me which I found refreshing. After agreeing that the Civic was my best choice for what I was looking for we then rolled up our sleeves and sharpened the pencils. Sterling, Fred and the team @ Morehead Honda did a great job in meeting my budget and making my monthly payments affordable. Awesome deal on a 2011 Honda Civic Coupe LX with 0.9% financing. Having just leased a 2011 Honda Civic from Morehead Honda, I can truly say I am happy with my choice. After researching many available options, I am confident that I found the best vehicle and best deal for me. This car is sharp looking both inside and out. The great gas mileage is a huge plus as well. My salesman, Mark Etri, was informative, professional, and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He took the time to research options with me, follow up with me, and provide an overall smooth experience. He, and the rest of the staff at Morehead Honda, were great to work with.
Morehead honda and salesman Mark Etri were very caring to my needs for a car. No high pressure. didnt try to oversell stuff i didnt need. All i can say is if anyone is looking for a car see Mark Etri at Morehead honda. i would have given them more then a 5 on all if they went higher.. Even my wife loves the car the civic SI four door loaded with what I wanted not what some high pressure salesman told me I need. Thanks again Mark Etri and all at Morehead Honda. Morehead is our go-to dealer for new cars. This is our 6th Honda and we have never been disappointd! THey are honest, trustworthy and dependable. We were fortunate to have Tommy Loving recommended by our retired salesman and he was terrific. He explained our options while keeping our safety and financial concerns paramount. We are thrilled with our new car and will naturally bring it back to Morehead for sevicing where the staff has always taken great car of our cars. I am very satisfied with the customer service at Morehead Honda in Newburgh, NY. I did an online quote request and Russ called and emailed me a straight forward, easy to understand quote. The two most important things to me was getting the 1.9% finance rate (special being offered) and the price of the trade-in. I got the price I wanted for the trade-in and I received the 1.9% finance rate. Deal! It was hard for me to get to the dealership with my work schedule and son, so Russ worked around my schedule. He and Dan even dealt with my cranky 17 month old son when we went to pick up the CR-V. I felt really bad because he was being so bad, and Russ couldn't have been nicer. He understood. The car had been great, and I have no complaints. I would recommend Morehead to family and friends.

After doing much research while looking for a used Honda Odyssey, I found one I liked very much at Moorehead Honda. That same day, I also found a Toyota Sienna I liked at another dealer. I made appointments to test drive both. I drove the Toyota Sienna first, as it was closer to my home. I hoped to save myself the trip to Newburgh. While I liked the vehicle, I was less than impressed with the dealership. I have had many car buying experiences as a woman. Most of the time, I feel like I'm being scammed. This particular dealership reinforced that feeling. So, I decide to take myself to Moorehead Honda and test drive the Odyssey. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the difference at Moorehead. Lou was pleasant and informative about the van, without being pushy. He was personable and friendly. The offer for my trade in was substantially more than the other dealership offered. I called the other dealership, as agreed, to let them make me their final offer. They offered to double Moorehead's offer for my trade in. Huge red flag that I was being scammed by the first dealership. Obviously, they could have made a decent offer the first time. Instead they chose greed over customer relations. This solidified my decision to take the Odyssey from Moorehead. Although I had financing from my credit union, Lou suggested I also apply with Honda financing to see if I could get a better rate. He was right. The rate was better. Fast forward a few days. Time to pick up my van. Yay! So excited! Two of my children went with me. One of them was supposed to bring a DVD for the drive home, to test out the DVD player. She forgot. Not to worry, though. When we got to the dealership, Lou had come prepared. He brought a DVD for the kids to watch on the way home. We signed all the papers and the van was mine. In my excitement, I didn't notice that there was only one set of keys. Lou noticed and had a new set made. It was around lunchtime and making the new set took a little longer than anticipated. Several employees came over while we were waiting to offer coffee or snacks. The man who did all of the paperwork with us, I forgot his name, even offered some pizza that they had purchased for the staff. I love my Odyssey. I am confident that I got a very fair price and an excellent vehicle. I would definately recommend Moorehead Honda to friends and family.

By far and wide the best car sales person I have ever dealt with is Tommy Loving; highly recommended to purchase a vehicle through him. Entire dealership is very friendly and accommodating. They care about the product and the customer and it clearly shows. Bought two cars on the same day, new 2011 Odyssey and pre certified used 2008 Pilot. Got great prices on both cars and very fair trade in values on both cars traded in.
